This was my first White Tank Shoot this summer. I debated whether to run the same series, but I love the style of this image, so fresh looking, like right off the cover of a magazine, so here we are for the Take 2 Series. I would say the series kicked off with an amazing group. This family is pure delight. Here is a smidge of a couple of my faves.

Lynleigh loves dance, ballet and tap. She chose to go without her ballet shoes, which I loved, the images below are a combination of posed and free style dance images. What a lovely shoot this was, dance really is art in motion.

Thomas is graduating from HSU and heading to Harding for PT Grad School. There are lots of adventures ahead, Thomas makes the world a better place, he is such a great young man.

It was so much fun taking Aidan’s senior pictures. The first time I photographed him, he was in pre-school. Now he is a grown man and heading to ACU to pursue a degree in electrical engineering. Aidan, may you some day be the king of all computers.

This was a fun shoot. Melinda, you might think you have seen her on my site before, but . . . that would be her identical twin, Melissa. It was a super fun photographing someone who I had just met, but who looks exactly like her sister, who lives local and I know. It felt a little surreal at times. Melinda brought three different looks, and lots of props and we went to work. The creativity was so fun. Melinda will use these images to insert text in the open areas to use on social media to share content and advertise.
I recently photographed Nora for theatre headshots. She is exquisite in front of the camera, she has a strong, beautiful voice, full of talent. What a treat it was to photograph you, Nora. Break a million legs!!!
We could not have asked for a more beautiful day to walk around Cibola National Forest in Albuquerque, NM. It was a beautiful weather day, but lots of much needed steps and fresh air were a great gift as well. David and Donna’s daughter, Julie did a great job of scouting the area in heels earlier in the morning, and I drove straight in from my Arizona shoots to meet them at the appointed time. All shoots are special, some are also sacred. This is one of those. Sacred moments, holy ground…and the best part is there were lots of laughs as well. Thank you to Julie and Beva (a close family friend) who were our location scouts and instigators of lots of big smiles along the way. Enjoy. - As a side note, the rock building in the background was the former cabin of Juan Tabo, if you are familiar with ABQ you have probably driven on the street named for him many times.
